DERHE Newsletter | Edition 2 – December 2024
The second edition of the DERHE Newsletter focuses on the six-day study visit held from 7 to 12 October 2024 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana.
During the visit, project partners participated in workshops and practical sessions on robotics, energy efficiency, ERP systems, simulation, the 5S methodology, sound control, and SMED processes. These activities allowed participants to explore methods and technologies that can support the modernization of education and help address real industrial challenges.
An important part of the programme was the visit to HELLA Saturnus Slovenija, part of Forvia Hella. Participants gained first-hand insights into advanced manufacturing processes, automotive lighting systems, and sustainability-oriented solutions. The visit demonstrated the importance of cooperation between universities and companies in developing skills that respond to the changing needs of the labour market.
