DERHE Newsletter | Edition 1 – June 2024
The first edition of the DERHE Newsletter introduces the launch of Digital Education Readiness in the Field of Higher Education, an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at strengthening the digital capacities of higher education institutions and improving their cooperation with the business sector.
This edition covers the project’s kick-off meeting, held on 14–15 February 2024 at the University of Ljubljana. Partners from the European Union and the Western Balkans discussed the project objectives, cooperation framework, and key steps that will guide its implementation.
The newsletter also presents the study visit to KU Leuven Technology Campus Ghent, where participants explored AR/VR technologies, modern laboratories, teaching methods, and project management practices. It also introduces six key training areas: digitalization, Industry 5.0, Lean practices, energy efficiency, waste management, and project management.
