DERHE Newsletter | Edition 6 – November 2026
The sixth edition of the DERHE Newsletter highlights the project’s results at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana (FEUT). The results were presented at a conference on 12 October 2026, organised in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (CCIT). The newsletter shows how training and student projects connected classroom learning with business needs.
The project delivered 19 training courses, 11 for businesses and 8 for students, covering topics such as project management, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Eight course syllabi were updated, and 11 theses were completed with co-mentoring from KU Leuven and the University of Ljubljana.
The newsletter also features two examples of collaboration in practice. At the DERHE international hackathon, students from Tirana and Sarajevo developed a strategic proposal for Mlin Ustikolina, bringing together sustainability and digital transformation. In a project for Montleon, FEUT students developed a model for estimating 3D-printing production costs.
