Visit of Albania’s Honorary Consul in India to CCIT

In a bid to strengthen economic ties between Albania and India, CCIT warmly welcomed Mr. Dikshu Kukreja, the Honorary Consul of Albania in India, for a pivotal discussion alongside key business representatives. The gathering served as a platform to explore avenues for enhanced commercial and investment collaboration, with a particular focus on creating lucrative opportunities for Albanian enterprises.

During the session, Loritan Prespa, Vice President of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, outlined the abundant economic prospects in Albania, spotlighting sectors ripe for investment such as IT, tourism, and energy. Prespa underscored the pivotal role of CCIT in providing robust support mechanisms for investors.

Participants engaged in dynamic exchanges aimed at leveraging tourism as a catalyst for economic development, tackling challenges encountered in the recruitment of Indian workers, and addressing the imperative for skilled manpower. The meeting, characterized by a spirit of collaboration and innovation, underscored a shared commitment to advancing bilateral economic interests.

This gathering follows the successful India-Albania business forum held earlier this year in New Delhi, which yielded promising outcomes for both nations.
