ValueFacturing SMEs Project Kicks Off National Workshops with First Event in Bergamo

The ValueFacturing SMEs project successfully launched its series of national workshops on June 25th in Bergamo.

The event provided an exciting platform to learn and promote best practices within the realm of #social dialogue. It also showcased the expertise of partners and stakeholders while highlighting the research progress made during the preliminary phases of the project.

The event featured a comprehensive roundtable discussion on the #VFSMEs main report, where experts and stakeholders shared their insights and findings. Additionally, a dedicated training session was held, aimed at enhancing understanding of key project areas.

The workshop delved deep into global value chains (GVCs) in the #manufacturing sector, focusing on the factors that influence Italian SMEs’ participation in these chains. Another key theme explored was the vital role of social dialogue and collective bargaining in the governance of GVCs, offering valuable perspectives on how these elements can shape a more sustainable and inclusive manufacturing landscape.

This first workshop marks an important milestone in the ValueFacturing #SMEs project, setting the stage for further collaboration and exchange of knowledge among stakeholders.

See you in next workshop in Tirana, Albania. We will have the opportunity to focus on the #VFSMEs main report, where experts and stakeholders will share their insights and findings for Albania.
