Building digital capacities for Microlearning! Online training conducted within the framework of the ADDUPT project
On May 22, 2025, the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the organization ACT, successfully conducted a virtual training session on the development of digital micro-learning resources.
This event was organized within the framework of the international ADDUPT project, co-financed by the European Union, and aimed to strengthen the capacities of professionals and trainers in creating and utilizing new learning formats.
The training took place on the Zoom platform and brought together 24 participants from various educational institutions and professional organizations.
During the session, participants were introduced to the concept of micro-learning, its purpose, and benefits in training and education, as well as the key elements that an effective micro-learning resource should contain. The differences between micro-learning and traditional e-learning were also discussed, along with categories and techniques for evaluating micro-learning, including the well-known Kirkpatrick evaluation model.
An important part of the training included practical guidelines and digital tools that enable the creation of interactive quizzes, polls, visual materials, and information collection forms. Dedicated platforms for publishing and distributing micro-lessons in simple and efficient formats were also presented.
During the event, the launch of the development process for 20 new micro-learning resources was announced. These resources are expected to be integrated into the curricula of trainings certified by the international institution ICERT in Greece. They will serve to prepare professionals in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), one of the fastest-growing sectors of the digital economy.
This training marks a significant step in supporting professional development and enhancing digital skills in Albania, as well as promoting modern and flexible learning methods that align with the demands of the European labor market.
