The event was\norganized in the meeting room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tirana\nand was attended by professors, research and academia experts who contribute in\nthe field of biotechnology, poultry farming and forestry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was opened by the project\nmanager, Ms. Elida Boshnjaku who welcomed the professors and introduced to them\nthe project explaining in details its aim, objectives and expected results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was followed with discussion\nabout the ample potential of biomass in Albania and the need to set up a\nstrategy for the bioeconomy in order to help valorisation of residual\/waste\nstreams and accelerate bio-based activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was concluded that the topic of\nbioeconomy still represents a challenge in terms of public awareness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context one of the project objectives is to promote stakeholders\u2019 engagement including academia and research, part of the project triple helix. They are considered as an important resource to support and promote mutual learning and understanding of the topic.
