Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry starts working with the newest project – “ADDUPT”
Addressing skills mismatching in the green sector through Digital Upskilling of VET, part of the Erasmus+ program (Raising capacities in the field of Education and Professional Training).
On January 25, 2023, was held the first online introductory meeting between the partners of this consortium.
This project aims to address the needs of Vocational Education and Training institutes located in third countries of the Western Balkans in order to provide Vocational Education and Training courses to students in relation to the requirements of green sector employers.
The focus will be placed on developing pedagogical approaches and digital skills of VET teachers and trainers to enable them to develop capacities and curricula corresponding to the needs of the green sector, thus addressing environmental sustainability and digital transformation.
Addupt expands the network of CCIT with 8 new partners respectively; Centro Superior de Formacion Europa-SUR SA (CESUR, Spain) which is the lead partner, Albanian Center for Education Care and Training (ACT CENTER), Centar za ekonomski Tehnoloski i Okolinski Razvoj – CETEOR Sarajevo (Bosnje Hercegovine), Zeleni Dom- Green Home UDRUZENJE, Montenegro, Eurotraining Educational Organization Greece, CESIE Palermo Italy, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banja Luka Bosnia and Herzegovina, CSI Center for Social Innovation LTD, Nicosia Cyprus.
The project started its implementation on 01.01.2023, which will be implemented in 36 months.
During this meeting held between the partners according to the agenda, the relevant implementing staff of this project was presented and the work packages and responsibilities of each partner were touched a little.
It was agreed that the first physical meeting will be held at the end of February or the beginning of March in Madrid, which will serve to detail the tasks of each partner and to build a work strategy that will successfully implement the project.
