Beer Fest – 17 August 2019 Korçe

Agroinnoeco project staff visited the big “Beer Fest” which took place on 14-18 August 2019in Korça in parallel in two places: near “Skenderbeu” stadium and at the “Old Bazar”. The event was visited in both places by the project staff.

Beer Fest celebrated the Beer Fest and the 90 anniversary of the First Albanian Beer known as Korça Beer and hosted thousands of Albanian and foreign visitors including businesses, professional degustators and beer-lovers for five days in a row.

Local brewery Birra Korça organized such event delivering a joyful show and serving the typical local fresh beer “Birra Korça” produced with bio and certified raw material and is well-known for its rich taste, and high quality. It is to be mentioned that to the event was attached also an exhibition of Albanian and foreign beer brands and products of meat, snacks, ect. A lot of stands were available to the visitors to test and taste the beer. Also the restaurants around offered and served the typical beer. And it was not just beer but also culinary, a variety of local tasty traditional food prepared on the spot.
