Approximately 4.6 billion people, or 59% of the world’s population, were using the Internet in 2020. Compared to 2019, about 7% more or almost 500 million people joined the Internet in that period.

According to Eurostat data, on the regional platform www.ecommerce4all.EU is created an interactive chart that shows the percentage of individuals who use the Internet in CEFTA markets.

In N. Macedonia, the percentage of individuals who use the Internet is 84% of the total population. Serbia follows after N. Macedonia with 80%, followed by Montenegro with 76%. All CEFTA markets had a higher % of individuals using the Internet when compared globally.
