BIKE DAY – 21 SEPTEMBER 2019
CCIT #DynaMob 2.0 project staff (Manager Ms. Elida Boshnjaku and Finance officer Mr. Emirjon Lleshi) joined with a dedicated stand the event “Bike Day” organized by The Door organization in close cooperation with the Municipality of Shkodra on Saturday 21rst 2019 in Shkodra. The event took place in the outside premises of Shkodra Municipality.
This special day came with a rich agenda, lots of cycle themed activities such as:
- acrobatic performance with bikes,
- fair with oldest bikes and mountainous ones, arts and crafts,
- bike projects,
- creative laboratory for youth with topic “The bike”,
- creative work with recycling materials,
- cycling demonstration,
- awareness campaign with motto “Use the bike”,
- competition for assembling the bike,
- bike lottery
- and cycling to “Syri i Sheganit”.
To open and launch The Bike Day, was the event organizer Mr. Kastriot Faci – President of the “The Door” organization who spoke about the importance of such event and presented briefly the agenda of the day. After his speech, was the Mayor of Shkodra Municipality Mrs. Voltana Ademi to speak and congratulate such event. Many other guests joined speeches and greeted the participants.
CCIT #DynaMob 2.0 project staff was also one of the event guests. The event was a good chance to present and promote the project, raise the profile of cycling as a healthy mode of transport and physical activity, see and meet a lot of people: local public authorities, social, environmental organizations, bike users from a range of different cycling backgrounds and enthusiasts of all ages who got involved in Bike Day.
Over 50 participants were reached by CCIT staff in the Bike Day. Many of them visited showed interest on the project and let contact for future cooperation in upcoming activities.
