Albania-Belarus business forum “Perspectives of bilateral cooperation” held for the first time
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus, held today, June 10, the online business forum “Perspectives of bilateral cooperation”.
More than 50 entrepreneurs from both countries were part of this forum, for whom the possibility of cooperation between the respective sectors was left open.
The Vice President of CCI of Belarus, Mr. Meleshkin Denis, who was also the moderator of the event, at the beginning made an open invitation for cooperation between the businesses of the two countries, also making a presentation of the Chamber of Belarus. He guaranteed that the Chamber would be put at the service of the business to establish the right contacts or to assist in any support the enterprise needs.
The Economic Advisor of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Bashkim Sykja in his welcoming speech speaking on behalf of the President Mr. Nikolin Jaka stated that: “Albania is increasingly valued by Belarus not only as an attractive tourist destination, but also as a concrete opportunity for cooperation in the field of business and investments ”.
According to him, the opening of the representative office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus in Tirana, is a clear indicator of the interest of the Belarusian enterprise for Albania.
On the other hand, Mr. Sykja stated that “we aim to strengthen cooperation between the two chambers of commerce and industry, to promote trade, exports and investment in priority sectors of the economy.” Clarifying to Belarusian entrepreneurs the facilities and opportunities that are approaching to do business in our country, he made an open invitation for concrete cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries.
The representative of the Chamber of Belarus in Albania, Mr. Aleksandër Gjurbavija in his welcoming speech expressed his willingness to be present for all the needs of the business and to establish appropriate contacts between stakeholders.
The forum presented the opportunities that each country offers. It was the representative of the National Investment and Privatization Agency of the Republic of Belarus who made the presentation of the potential opportunities that her country offers.
On the other hand, Ms. Aris Tasho, Director of the External Relations Office of CCIT , was the one who made a presentation of the Chamber and the investment climate in Albania.
Mr. Agim Rrapaj, Chairman of the Albanian Agribusiness Council, part of this forum in his speech said that there are all opportunities for cooperation in the field in which he represents, requesting that Chambers of Commerce or business associations be cooperative that come to the aid of the business to orient them where and how to invest.
Mrs. Ilda Kasa, representative of the company “Happy Tours”, in her speech spoke about the tourism sector in Albania, making an open invitation for the other party to come and enjoy the Albanian beauties.
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries are in the first steps of cooperation, a step that was concretized with this first forum and that will then follow with concrete agreements between them.
